Michael Johns
Michael Johns is a national co-founder of the U.S. Tea Party movement, a former White House presidential speechwriter and Heritage Foundation policy analyst, and a globally-recognized public policy expert, analyst, and conservative thought leader and activist.
Michael also has worked in executive capacities in the healthcare industry, as a director of the U.S. government-supported International Republican Institute (IRI), and as a senior aide to both a U.S. Senator and the former governor of New Jersey and chairman of the 9/11 Commission. In the final years of the Cold War, Michael was a leading proponent of the Reagan Doctrine, now widely credited as a major contributing factor to bringing the Cold War to a peaceful and successful end.
On June 16, 2015, the first day of Donald Trump’s presidential candidacy, Michael endorsed Trump for the presidency and has since been one of the nation’s leading proponents of the Make America Great Again (MAGA) agenda. Michael has been an innovative and prolific advocate for securing our nation from illegal immigration, enacting strict and more sensible limits on legal immigration, incentivizing American companies with foreign manufacturing operations to return those operations to the United States, confronting and defending the U.S. against the vast threat represented by China’s Communist Party (CCP) and bringing an end to CCP genocide and human rights violations, and enacting vastly more simplified and U.S. tax policies and regulations that restrict the cost and burden of these policies and regulations on job-creating and working Americans.
Michael has written for The Wall Street Journal, Christian Science Monitor, National Review, and other media and appears regularly as a guest analyst and commentator on U.S. and global television and radio networks.
